
Kittilä church in Kittilä in Lapland in Finland
The wooden church in Kittilä in Finnish Lapland was fully built in the year 1831. During the Lapland War in 1944-1945 it was the only building in Kittilä not burned down by the retreating German army. Nowadays Kittilä is best known for its gold mining and ski resort Levi.
