
Snowy trees in Finnish Lapland
The Lapland (Lappi in Finnish), which covers one third of Finland’s surface, is the northernmost area of the country. Lapland is the region of reindeer, Santa Claus, northern lights and six months of snow. This photo was taken at the top the Mont Rita (Ritavaara) in Pello in Western Lapland
