
A Santa Claus “smoker” in Seiffen in Germany
Seiffen in the south of Germany is well known for its wonderful wooden Christmas decorations. One example is this Santa Claus “smoker”. The first smokers were developed around 1850 in Heidelberg, close to Seiffen. Figures of the everyday life were mostly used as motif, but nowadays, Santa Claus and other popular figures are used as well.
