Levi Mountain resort (winter)
Levi, located in the Western part of Finnish Lapland in Kittilä municipality, is Finland’s leading mountain resort. There are 48 ski slopes and 28 ski lifts in Levi resort. Levi is one of two locations of gondola lifts in Finland. Every year, Levi hosts slaloms of the Alpine Skiing World Cup in mid-November. The slopes in Levi are well-suited for beginners or intermediates, and there are also four black slopes. Levi has an extended skiing and snowboarding season, often lasting from mid-October to early June. Levi offers also excellent conditions for Nordic skiing and different kind of safari activities.
